Chairman, University of Central Asia
The Forum in Tashkent left me with a very positive impression. First, I was pleased to see the Fellows from different parts of Central Asia engaging in genuine dialogue on areas of common interest to the region and seeking out opportunities for economic, social and cultural collaboration. I’ve since connected with some of them and the sense of comradery among the Fellows and the Forum participants is striking. The two days spent together at the Forum undoubtedly had a very positive effect on all. Finally, I was particularly impressed that the Fellows were either moderating or participating as experts at several sessions of the Forum. This is a credit to the level of talent in the CAMCA Network, but also to the organizers for the effort put into selecting these leaders.
