Ms. Aizhan Zhantayeva is the Director of Human Resources at the Astana International Financial Center. Prior to her current position, she served as the Director of Human Resources at the commercial bank ATF Bank and at the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan; as Deputy General Director for Corporate and Legal Affairs for the Central Asia region at Imperial Tobacco Kazakhstan as Regional Director for investment attraction from the United States for the National Agency for Export and Investment, Kaznexinvest; as Managing Director in the Corporation for Export Development and Promotion; as well as a consultant in the Center for Strategic Research and Analysis for the Administration of the President of Kazakhstan. She holds an MS in Finance and Accounting from the University of Birmingham, UK (2003) and an MBA from the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics, and Strategic Research (2002).
