Mr. Ali Koichumanov is the Regional Director for CIS at Fircroft Engineering Services Ltd., Kazakhstan. Prior to joining Fircroft in 2015, he worked as Country Finance Controller from 2013-15 for Cameron Flow Control Technology in Weybridge, UK managing the company’s projects in Kenya, Libya, Poland and Turkmenistan. From 2006-2013 Mr. Koichumanov held various positions at AES Company from Financial Reporting Manager of AES Kazakhstan to Financial Project Manager and then Deputy Regional Financial Controller at AES Europe, Middle East and Africa Regional Office in London, with responsibilities to oversee and manage AES projects in Spain, Turkey and the Netherlands. Mr. Koichumanov holds an MSc in Accounting from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. (2008), an MBA with a concentration in Finance (2007) and a BBA with a concentration in Accounting from the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research (KIMEP, 2003). He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, 2009, Virginia).
