Ms. Gulmira Rzayeva is a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Strategic Studies (SAM) under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan; a Research Associate at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies (OIES) at the University of Oxford, UK; an Expert/Advisor to the World Energy Council’s Global Gas Center based in Geneva; and a Founder and Managing Director of Eurasia Analytics consulting company based in London. Ms. Rzayeva's area of expertise is energy security. She is recognized worldwide for her work and is a frequent speaker at international conferences. She is also an author of numerous reports and articles including the most recent reports, “Turkish Domestic Natural Gas Market: Policies and Challenges” and “The Outlook for Azerbaijan Gas Supplies to Europe,” both published by OIES. Ms. Rzayeva holds an MA in Global Affairs from the University of Buckingham, UK (2008) and a BA in International Relations from the Baku Slavic University (2003).
