Manduul Altangerel

Mongolia

Ms. Manduul Altangerel is a lawyer whose primary areas of expertise are corporate, energy & resources, and investment law. Currently she is pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M) at the Harvard Law School (2019). Ms. Altangerel has extensive experience in advising international clients in relation to major investments and projects. Previously she was a Partner at ELC Advocates LLP, a major law firm in Mongolia, and worked in Australian, Hong Kong and Mongolia offices of Allens LLP, a leading international law firm, where she provided a wide range of regulatory, compliance and strategic legal counsel regarding major investments in energy, mining and infrastructure projects. Ms. Altangerel also lectured at the School of Law of the National University of Mongolia. At the same time she is actively involved in civil society initiatives: since 2015 she has been a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community and in 2014 she founded the Lean In Network Mongolia. Ms. Altangerel holds a Master of Laws from the University of Warwick, UK (LL.M, 2010), and a Master of Laws (LL.M, 2009) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B, 2007) from the National University of Mongolia.
