Mr. Saintulga Munkhgerel oversees the development and execution of decarbonization strategy for the fourth largest copper mine in the world called Oyu Tolgoi in Mongolia. He previously worked as CEO of Khotgor Minerals LLC, a company exploring and developing a rare earth elements deposit in Mongolia. Mr. Munkhgerel also has experience in the development of energy facilities isolated from large scale infrastructures and was part of a team that negotiated power import from a Chinese state owned enterprise to supply the copper mines. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2008).
