Mr. Ilhomjon Aliyev is the Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Tajikistan. In this role, he has contributed significantly to establishing the foundation for technology entrepreneurship in Tajikistan by organizing international tech-startup events and attracting U.S. technology companies to the country. Mr. Aliyev is also the founder of the “Innovate for Change” program, in which CEOs teach business courses to university students and students have the opportunity to experience consulting with real clients with a focus on social responsibility. Mr. Aliyev holds an MA in Political Economy from the University of Manchester, UK (2012) and a BA in International Relations from the Russian-Tajik Slavonic University, Tajikistan (2011). He is also an alumnus of the Global Village for Future Leaders of Business and Industry Program of Lehigh University/Iacocca Institute (2013). In March 2016 Mr. Aliyev was invited to represent global alumni of the Future Leaders Exchange Program (FLEX) before the U.S. Congress.
