Mr. Rajabbek Sulaymonbekov is CEO of Orien Leasing LLC and Head of the OJSC Orienbank for the Sogd Oblast in Northern Tajikistan. From 2015 to 2017 he served as a Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Open Joint Stock Company Sohibkorbank, and before that spent 12 years as Deputy Chairman of the Board of OJSC Orienbank. Prior to joining OJSC Orienbank, Mr. Sulaymonbekov worked for USAID-funded projects for Central Asia implemented by the U.S.-based consulting company, Pragma Corporation. Mr. Sulaymonbekov played a key role in establishing the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Tajikistan and still serves as a member of the Board of Directors of AmCham. Mr. Sulaymonbekov holds a Certificate in International Accounting Standards from the Kazakh Institute of Professional Accountants and Auditors, Almaty, Kazakhstan (2000); an MA (1998) and BA (1996) in International Economic Relations from Khujand State University, Tajikistan; and a BA in Law from Tajik National University (2009).
