Dr. Döwran Orazgylyjow is a private lawyer who offers legal consulting services to local and foreign companies in Turkmenistan. He is also a Partner and the Editor-in-Chief of Atavatan Turkmenistan Journal, as well as a Director General of Atavatan Türkmenistan News Agency (ATHA - www.atavatan-turkmenistan.com). Dr. Orazgylyjow has taught International Commercial Arbitration at the special school for state lawyers organized by the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan and the Law School of Magtumkuly State University. He holds a PhD in Law (2012) and an LLM (2005) from the Department of Private Law at the Institute of Social Sciences, Dokuz Eylul University, and an LLB from Dokuz Eylul Law School, Turkey (2002). Dr. Orazgylyjow is the author of the book, International Direct Investment and Joint Ventures, co-author of the book, Entrepreneurship Law of Turkmenistan, and co-author of more than 250 articles on legal, energy and economic issues in Turkmenistan and abroad.
