Muhammet Yuvshanov

Turkmenistan

Mr. Muhammet Yuvshanov is an Executive Officer at CJSC Turkmen Awtoban, the first Turkmen consortium established in 2018 for construction of the 600 km Ashgabat-Turkmenabat high-speed motorway and for further development of the road infrastructure of Turkmenistan. Previously he served as a Country Project Coordinator at Unger Steel Group, where he was responsible for the operational and strategic management of both the public and private sector projects and coordination of the company’s activities in Turkmenistan. In 2016 he also served at the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan. Prior to joining Unger Steel Group, Mr. Yuvshanov worked in the fields of oil and gas service, project development engineering and turnkey construction. Mr. Yuvshanov holds an MSc in Geo-information Systems and Environment Protection as a TEMPUS/EWASIA double degree scholar from the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Melioration, Uzbekistan and Wageningen University & Research, Netherlands (2006) and a Diploma of Industrial Engineering from S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, Turkmenistan (2002). He is also a BIARI Scholar of the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs at Brown University.
