Alisher Abidjanov

Dr. Alisher Abidjanov is the Director of the Center for Retraining and In-Service Training of Academic Staff under Uzbekistan State World Languages University. Previously, he served as the Vice Rector for International Cooperation at the same university and held leadership roles in the Ministry of Public Education. Dr. Abidjanov’s research interests include the theory of civil society, social changes in Central Asia, political culture, and the democratization process. He has been a visiting scholar and professor at renowned institutions such as George Washington University, Princeton University, and Johns Hopkins University. Throughout his career, Dr. Abidjanov has actively contributed to educational reforms and the development of innovative teaching methodologies in Uzbekistan. His work has significantly influenced social sciences education, with a focus on aligning Uzbek educational standards with global best practices. Dr. Abidjanov holds a PhD, MA, and BA in Philosophy from the National University of Uzbekistan. He is also the founder of a private educational center aimed at fostering academic excellence and innovation in teaching.
