Mr. Bobur Karimov is the First Deputy Chairman at Antimonopoly Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He is also a Co-founder and Partner at Karimov and Partners Law Firm (Avrora Law), an independent law firm established in 2014, which mainly specializes in advising foreign private and public investors on legal aspects of doing business in Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. Prior to co-founding his own company, from 2007-2013, Mr. Karimov worked at Grata Law Firm both in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and in 2011 was promoted to the position of the Head of Grata Tashkent office. Previously, he worked as the Head of the Legal Department at Coca-Cola Bottlers Uzbekistan LLC and as Senior Legal Counsel and then Head of the Legal Department at the State Committee on De-monopolization and Competition Development of Uzbekistan. Mr. Karimov holds an LLM in International Law from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent (2004) and an LLB from the University of Warwick, UK (2001).
