Mr. Mirzo Ibragimov is a Communications Officer at the World Bank Country Office in Uzbekistan. Previously, from 2016 to 2017 he served as a Press and Information Officer at the Delegation of the European Union in Tashkent. From 2012 to 2015, Mr. Ibragimov served as the Deputy Head of the Political and Public Diplomacy Section at the British Embassy in Uzbekistan, managing the Embassy’s media and public diplomacy activities as well as analyzing key political and economic developments in Central Asia. From 2008 to 2012, he worked for the International Committee of the Red Cross Delegation for Central Asia, implementing activities designed to build the capacities of the Ministries of Defense of the regional states in the field of Law of Armed Conflict. Mr. Ibragimov holds an MA in Central Asian Studies from the OSCE Academy in Bishkek (2006) and an LLB in International Law from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent (2005).
