Murod Ismailov, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Education at the University of Tsukuba and a Visiting Professor of Policy Studies at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. He concurrently serves as the President of the CAMCA Academic Consortium and CAMCA Academy working on innovative educational projects across the region. He previously served as dean of the School of International Relations, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent (2007-2010). Murod's current teaching and research focus on educational psychology and technology, including AI in education, internationalization of universities, and transformative education reforms in the CAMCA and Asia-Pacific regions. His research appeared in prominent international journals, including Computers & Education, Interactive Learning Environments, International Journal of Science and Mathematics Education, Educational Psychology, The Asia-Pacific Education Researcher, Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, E-Learning and Digital Media, Frontiers in Psychology, and others. He is a co-author of Social Capital Construction in Central Asia (Palgrave MacMillan, NY, 2017). Murod is a member of the editorial boards of Interactive Learning Environments, Frontiers in Psychology, Frontiers in Education and Sustainability international journals and a peer-reviewer for over 30 academic journals in the field of education, technology, and society.
