Raykhona Khashimova

Uzbekistan

Ms. Raykhona Khashimova is a former Senior Market Access Policy Advisor and former Head of the Commercial Team at the British Embassy in Uzbekistan. In these roles, she led efforts to promote UK-Uzbekistan trade and investment relations, advocated for British companies operating in the country, and provided consulting services to British investors on business opportunities in the local market. She is currently on maternity leave and plans to resume her work in the areas of international trade and finance in the near future.
Before joining the British Embassy, from 2009 to 2012, Ms. Khashimova served as the Head of the Country Office for a Hong Kong-based company exporting commodities from Uzbekistan. From 2007 to 2008, she worked as a Logistics Analyst at Carlsberg Group where she was involved in procurement for the launch of a new multimillion-dollar brewery in Uzbekistan.
Ms. Khashimova holds an MA in International Business and Management from Westminster International University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (2016), a BS in Finance and Economics from Virginia Union University in Richmond, USA (2006), and a BA in English Language and Literature from Uzbek State University of World Languages (2003).
