Ms. Arevik Anapiosyan is a Deputy Minister of Education of Armenia. Previously she served as the Executive Director of the Institute of Public Policy, where she has been involved in a number of policy research initiatives aimed at the development and enhancement of quality education policies in Armenia and regionally. She is also an adjunct faculty member at the American University of Armenia and at the Centre for European Studies at Yerevan State University. Ms. Anapiosyan holds an MA in Political Science from the American University of Armenia (2008) as well as an MA (2008) and a BA (2006) in International Relations from Yerevan State University. From 2012-2015 she was a visiting fellow at the Human Rights Centre at the University of Essex, UK, in 2015 she was a visiting Ph.D. researcher at the University of Tartu, Estonia and in 2016 she did an academic fellowship at the University of Massachusetts, in collaboration with Harvard University, on the Study of U.S. Political Thought and Politics.
