Ms. Anna Sarkisyan is an international security expert with more than 15 years of experience in project management in Armenia and the South Caucasus. Her most recent affiliation is with and the Open Governance Research & Development Unit Project at UNDP Armenia. Until recently she also worked for Defense and Security Program of Transparency International. Previously, for more than 10 years Ms. Sarkisyan worked as a Senior Program Manager at the Caucasus Research Resource Center-Armenia where she contributed to the development of research agendas and methodologies for social scientists in the countries of the South Caucasus. Her professional interest areas include peace and international security studies including defense issues. Ms. Sarkisyan holds an MAS in International and European Security from the Global Studies Institute at the University of Geneva (2017), an MA in History (2003) and a BA in International Relations (2001) from Yerevan State University, as well as Certificates in Leadership in International Security from the Geneva Center for Security Policy (2017) and International Relations and Foreign Policy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (2010, Tavitian Fellow) at Tufts University.
