Ms. Natia Gvenetadze is the Head of the Professional and Institutional Development Department at the Defense Institution Building School (DIBS) at the Ministry of Defense of Georgia. Ms. Gvenetadze has extensive professional experience in defense and security matters and, prior to joining DIBS, served as the Head of the International Relations Division at the National Defense Academy of Georgia from 2011-17 as well as worked at the Defense Policy and Planning Department of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia from 2005-11. Ms. Gvenetadze holds an MA in International Security and Strategy from King’s College London (2017), an MA in Social Sciences (2007) and a BA in International Economic Relations (2005) from International Black Sea University in Tbilisi, Georgia. She has also completed a Senior Strategic Leadership Course in International Affairs, Security and Strategy at the Royal College of Defense Studies in London (2017) and a Strategic Level Course in International Affairs and Security at the Baltic Defense College (2009). Ms. Gvenetadze is currently pursuing her PhD in Conflict Analysis and Management at Tbilisi State University.
