Munkhnaran Bayarlkhagva

Mr. Munkhnaran Bayarlkhagva is a Policy Analyst at the National Security Council of Mongolia and an experienced international elections observer. Prior to joining the NSC, he worked as a project finance consultant for Mongolia’s flagship infrastructure development and industrial projects and observed international elections with OSCE/ODIHR and the Carter Center. Mr. Bayarlkhagva’s previous research, fellowship and internship experiences include the Stanford U.S.-Russia Forum (2016-17), the Russia and Eurasia Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS, 2015-16), Global Growth Advisers in Tehran, Iran (2015) and Summer Fellowship at Stanford University’s Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (2012). Mr. Bayarlkhagva is a Fulbright Scholar and holds an MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (2016) and a dual degree in International Business - a BSc in International Economics, Finance and Management from the Bocconi University in Milan, Italy (2009) and a BA in Business Administration from Central European University’s Business School in Budapest, Hungary (2010).
