Ms. Chimguundari Navaan-Yunden (Mongolia) is an Ambassador-at-Large and Director of the Investment Research Center at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Mongolia, where she oversees the implementation of the flagship Economic Corridor Program between Mongolia-Russia-China, a major program on connectivity via hard and soft infrastructure. Prior to that, she served as a Foreign Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister of Mongolia. Ms. Navaan-Yundenhas 12 years of diplomatic experience including serving as DeputyDirector of the Neighbouring Countries Department at the MFA and as a Counsellor at the Mongolian Embassy in France. She also taught French language and Mongolia’s Foreign Policy at the University of Humanities of Mongolia. Her areas of interest include global geopolitics, Eurasian geopolitics and economic integration, regional connectivity, the Belt and Road Initiative and the interconnection of development cooperation and geopolitics. Ms. Navaan-Yunden holds a double MA in Public Administration and International Relations from the French Ecole Nationale d’Administration and University of Sorbonne (2016) and a BA in International Relations from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (2006). She also attended training programs at the Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael in Hague and the FCO Young Leaders Program in London, UK.
