Mirbek Asangariev

Mr. Mirbek Asangariev is a serial entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of the4-star eco-friendly business Hotel "Bridges"in Bishkek as well as the Founder and Owner of the social enterprise,"Bishkek Furniture,"which he founded in 2005 employing young disabled people and has gone on to become one of the most successful andlargest players in the Kyrgyz market. As a social entrepreneur, Mr. Asangariev decided to establish the Association of Social Entrepreneurs of Kyrgyzstan, which has now prepared more than 2,000 young leaders and helped to launch more than 80 startup social enterprises. Mr. Asangariev was also a founder and a leader of the political party, “For Barrier Free Life,” from 2008-2013 and a Co-founder and Chairman of theLiberal Political Party,"Reforma,"from 2013-15. In addition, he founded a public association, "Movement of Disabled Youth of Kyrgyzstan," where he served as Chairman from 2002-2010. This organization successfullyadvocated for legislation to be adopted to help disabled people and played a leading role in ratifying the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Kyrgyzstan. Mr. Asangariev holds an MBA from the American University in Central Asia in Bishkek (2017) and a BA in Law from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan (2005).
