Mr. Shuhrat Mirzoev is a Managing Partner and Founder of IRSHAD Consulting LLC, a Tajikistan-based professional consulting firm, which offers advisory services to public and private sector clients. Mr. Mirzoev is a development economist, specializing in public sector reform and business environment. He has held senior economist posts at the World Bank and at the UK Department for International Development (DFID) where he led a $30m portfolio of multi-country programs in Central Asia. Mr. Mirzoev has also worked on numerous development projects funded by the EU, DFID, the World Bank, UNICEF and others, and has provided consulting services for more than 10 years in economic governance, public finance management, labor markets and fiscal and monetary policy. Mr. Mirzoev is an active participant of a high-level Wilton Park dialogue and advises the Ministry of Finance on fiscal policy and broader PFM reforms in Tajikistan. He holds a MSc in International Strategy and Economics from the University of St Andrews, UK (2006) and a BSc in Economics from the Technological University of Tajikistan (2005). Mr. Mirzoev is currently pursuing his PhD in Economics from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
