Ms. Konul Aliyeva is a serial entrepreneur who has founded several businesses in Azerbaijan as well as invested in businesses in Turkey and Ukraine. Currently she is a Partner and General Manager at Horeca Kiyv LLC, one of the leading companies in Azerbaijan and Ukraine that provides professional cleaning and hygiene products, as well as services and trainings in the field. Ms. Aliyeva is an active social entrepreneur whose companies are all socially responsible and offer their employees new perspectives, scholarships and student internships. In 2013 Ms. Aliyeva initiated, produced and invested in what would become a popular TV show in Azerbaijan called Ideya Qazandi, where young entrepreneurs make business presentations to a panel of investors and companies who decide whether to invest in their start-ups and business ideas. This award-winning project was broadcast for more than five years on a major Azerbaijan TV channel and supported more than 50 talented young entrepreneurs with $150,000 USD of investment. In 2017, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan recognized Ideya Qazandi as the best TV project of the year. Ms. Aliyeva holds an MBA from The London School of Commerce, an Associate College of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (2010) and an MA (2012) and a BA (2008) in Oriental Studies from Baku State University.
