Gereltuya Orgil

Mongolia

Ms. Gereltuya Orgil is an interdisciplinary communications and campaign strategist with 19 years of experience working with over 100 clients in Mongolia and the UK. She is the Founder and CEO of EMPR, an independent PR agency based in Ulaanbaatar, specializing in strategic communications and brand campaigns. Through her professional work, she served 11th Asia Europe Summit, as well as the governments of Mongolia, the UK, Canada, and the EU Delegation in Mongolia. Additionally, she has led high-impact campaigns for large-scale sustainable development initiatives by The Nature Conservancy Mongolia and ADB Mongolia.
Besides her work as a business executive and communications professional, for more than a decade Ms. Orgil has been leading several youth, young professionals and civil society grassroot movements in support of democracy, against corruption and pressuring the government and political leaders to be accountable to professional associations, women, youth, the private sector and other groups. In recent years, she has also been running high-impact political campaigns empowering the new generation of voters, including managing an election compaign for the HUN party, which in the 2020 Parliamentary elections received 14% of votes and for the first time earned seat in the Mongolian Parliament. She currently leads a cohort of aspiring policymakers through her Civic Space NGO, dedicated to advancing participatory policymaking and inclusive governance in Mongolia.
Ms. Orgil holds a BA in Mass Communications and PR from London Metropolitan University, UK (2007).
