Mr. Ulugbek Gulomov is a consultant with the Agency for Strategic Reforms under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, advising the government on establishing the Tashkent International Commercial Court. Mr. Gulomov has more than a decade of legal consulting experience and, prior to joining the goverment as a consultant, worked as a Head of Business Development & Marketing at Centil Law, a regional law firm in Central Asia (2018-2022) and as a corporate lawyer in the Russia and CIS team at Fieldfisher, a London based law firm (2012-2018). During his career, Mr. Gulomov has advised clients on corporate, commercial and dispute resolution matters in the UK and in Uzbekistan, and has worked with clients in the financial, oil & gas and mining sectors. In addition, Mr. Gulomov’s interest in legal technology and innovations led to advising startups and venture funds on corporate matters, structuring and fundraising, resulting in more than $5 million USD raised for startups in both London and Tashkent. From 2014‐2020, Mr. Gulomov was a co‐founder and trustee of Central Asian Group Ltd, a non‐profit focused on promoting Central Asian culture in London. Mr. Gulomov holds a Law LLB from Newcastle University (2012).
