Ms. Lena Zakaryan, is a Director of Policy and Governance at AxelMondrian & Partners, a reputation management company. In her role, Ms. Zakaryan curates and oversees a myriad of activities and projects in policy and governance. Her responsibilities encompass social and political campaigns, programs and projects, along with establishing networks to foster connections with government officials, international donors, C-suite level representatives and political organizations. Ms. Zakaryan is also a lecturer teaching Political Science and Security Policy Studies at Eurasia International University. Previously, from 2021-2022, she served as a Scientific Analyst at the National Defense Research University, from 2018-2020, as a Senior Expert at the Office of the Prime Minister of Armenia, and from 2016-2018, as a Consultant at the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Zakaryan actively engages various professional networks, including the Younger Generation Leaders Network on Euro-Atlantic Security (YGLN), the "Katarine" women leadership network powered by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and the U.S. Department of State's Institute for Educational Advancement (IEA) network. Ms. Zakaryan holds an MA in Security Policy Studies and Regional Politics (2018) and a BA in Political Science and International Affairs (2016), both from Yerevan State University. During her studies, Ms. Zakaryan also completed a specialized course in Public Policy Making and Governance at Southern Illinois University and the University of Chicago and, from 2021-2022, she participated in an executive leadership program offered by NDI.
