Ms. Luguusharav Byambakhand currently serves as the Acting CEO of EuroChamber Mongolia. With over a decade of research experience, she previously held the position of senior researcher at the Institute for Strategic Studies, National Security Council, and researcher at the Institute of International Studies, Academy of Sciences of Mongolia, before joining EuroChamber Mongolia. Her research focuses on U.S. foreign policy, Mongolia-U.S. relations and Mongolia-NATO relations. Ms. Byambakhand has authored and published over 30 articles.
Ms. Byambakhand is frequently featured as a guest expert on prominent TV channels and in newspapers across Mongolia, sharing her insights and commentary on various international relations issues. Since September 2024, she has served as an analyst and anchor for international affairs at NTV Mongolia. Previously, she held the role of international current affairs analyst at TV9 Mongolia from 2021 to 2022.
She plays a pivotal role as a co-founder of the Alumni Association of the School of Foreign Service at the National University of Mongolia, where she holds a position on the Board. She also shares her knowledge through a part-time lecturing role at the National University of Mongolia. She holds a Master of Arts degree in International Relations and European Studies from the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the School of Foreign Service at the National University of Mongolia.
