Ms. Diana Charyyeva, is a Project Manager at the International Organization for Migration in Turkmenistan. Collaborating closely with governmental bodies and key stakeholders, Ms. Charyyeva spearheads initiatives aimed at highlighting migration as a catalyst for positive development, growth and diversity. Her responsibilities include overseeing regional and national projects on Immigration and Border Governance, Migration and Health, Migration and Climate Change, as well as managing programs addressing counter-trafficking, human mobility, migration and development, return and reintegration assistance to migrants, and labor migration. Her professional background spans across various sectors, including extensive experience with USAID country programs, U.S. diplomatic missions, UNHQ, international organizations and private financial institutions. Ms. Charyyeva holds an MA in Human Rights and Cultural Diversity from the University of Essex, UK (2015) and a BA in Business Administration and Management from the American University of Bulgaria (2012). She has also obtained diplomas in European Studies from the American University of Central Asia, Kyrgyzstan; the Cultural Diversity and Orientation Program from the Carls Duisberg Education Center in Cologne, Germany; and Mathematics and Physics from the Polytechnic College of Kyrgyzstan.
