Mr. Sami Sadat is the CEO of Blue Sea Logistics Company, a Kabul-based company that supplies defense equipment and technology to Afghan forces. From 2013-15, Mr. Sadat served at the National Directorate of Security (NDS) as Deputy Director for Intelligence Analysis and then as Director of Covert Influence Operations. From 2012-13 he served as Director for Strategic Communications at the High Peace Council, and from 2007-10 Mr. Sadat worked at the Ministry of Interior of Afghanistan as Deputy Director for Strategic Communications and then as Policy Adviser to the Minister. Mr. Sadat is a graduate of the Joint Services Command and Staff College at the Defense Academy of the U.K. (2011), the Polish Defense Academy where he completed the Battalion Command Course (2010) and the NATO Military Academy in Munich, Germany (2007). In addition, Mr. Sadat holds an MA in Strategic Management and Leadership from the U.K. Charter Management Institute (2012).
