Davit Sanasaryan

Mr. Davit Sanasaryan is the Head of State Control Service of Armenia. He played a significant role in success of Armenia’s peaceful revolution in May 2018. From 2013 to 2017, he was an elected member of the City Council of Yerevan. Since 2007, he has been a member of the Heritage Political Party and from 2008 to 2010, he served as the Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Party. Also, from 2010 to 2012 he served as a Board Member, and from 2014 to 2017 as a Press Secretary of the Party. He also served as a representative of the Heritage Party to the European People’s Party. Over the years Mr. Sanasaryan was active in civic movements for human rights, environmental issues, social issues and other causes. He co-founded the "Pro Bono Armenia" Anti-Corruption Centre. He also taught at the International Academy of education in Yerevan. Mr. Sanasaryan has a law degree from the International Academic Institute in Yerevan (2009). In 2017 he completed the Tavitian Scholarship Program at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University with specialization in public policy and public administration.
