Ambassador Sergey Minasyan is the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Romania. Previously he served as a Deputy Director and Head of the Political Studies Department at the Caucasus Institute in Yerevan, Armenia. His areas of expertise are military history, security studies, regional conflicts and international relations. Previously, Dr. Minasyan has worked as a military and security expert at the Institute of Political Studies under the Administration of the President of Armenia, and as a regional military analyst for the IHS Jane’s Information Group. Ambassador. Minasyan has authored and co-authored several monographs and reports, published dozens of academic and analytical articles and taught and researched international relations and security studies in universities in Armenia and abroad. Ambassador Minasyan holds a Doctor of Political Science degree from the Institute for National Security Studies at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia (2013), a PhD in Military History (2002) and an MA in International Relations from Yerevan State University (1998).
