Mr. Anar Jahangirli is a Consultant to the Asan Khedmat (one-stop shop for public services) Authority of Afghanistan Ministry of Finance and a Visiting Scholar at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. His research is on energy security and geopolitics in Europe. Prior to academia, he was in business and established his own company, as well as advised several companies on communication strategies, process optimization and corporate governance. Prior to moving to business, Mr. Jahangirli worked at the Azerbaijan Foreign Service for more than a decade, including a tour in the Mission of Azerbaijan to the EU in Brussels. Mr. Jahangirli holds an MPA from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University (2011), an MA in European Public Affairs from the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands (2001) and a BA in International Relations and International Law from Baku State University (1999). He has also completed courses at the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna, Austria and NATO Defense College in Rome, Italy.
