Fidan Huseynli

Azerbaijan

Ms. Fidan Huseynli is currently a short-term consultant for the World Bank Group as part of the ENPI FLEG (II) Program Team in Azerbaijan. She also has been selected to perform as the National Consultant on Communication and Awareness Creation for the FAO project titled, “Support to Development of National Forest Program and Forest Legislation in Azerbaijan.” Her professional career is linked to human rights organizations, where she has volunteered and later worked in the areas of conflict resolution, peace-building and European integration issues. In the summer of 2011, The Caucasus Edition: Journal of Conflict Transformation published her article on the EU capabilities in crisis management and conflict prevention. Her research interests include security, conflict resolution and peace building. Ms. Huseynli holds an MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium (2008), and an MA (2006) and BA (2003) in International Law and International Relations from Baku State University.
