Ms. Kamala Gafarova has been since March 2017 a Project Services Manager at BP’s South Caucuses Pipeline Expansion Project in Azerbaijan, where she is responsible for developing and managing strategy, systems, plans and procedures in the areas of planning and reporting, estimating, cost control and support and information management associated with onshore pipelines projects. Previously she worked as a Resources Team Leader at BP’s Southern Gas Corridor Project. Prior to joining BP, from 2003-14 Ms. Gafarova worked for Petroplan Limited, a global recruitment organization, where since 2010 she served as the Regional Director for the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey region. In this position she was responsible for the overall operations of the Azerbaijan and Georgia branches, including finance, accounting, tax planning and administration and annual budgeting. Ms. Gafarova holds an MA in Finance and Credit from Azerbaijan State Economic University (2002). She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma from Nottingham Business School (2012) and completed a two-year postgraduate program in Human Resource Management from Nottingham Trent University.
