Mr. Beka Aladashvili is a Fellow at the Atlantic Council of Georgia. Prior to his current position, Mr. Aladashvili served as Head of the Defense Policy and Planning Department at the Ministry of Defense of Georgia. Previously, Mr. Aladashvili worked in the Ministry of Internal Affairs as the Director of the Policy and Planning Department and prior to this appointment, served at the Ministry of Defense as the Acting Head of Defense Policy and Planning Department, Head of the Defense Policy Division, and as a Senior Specialist in national security affairs. Since 2003, Mr. Aladashvili has attended a number of professional development courses and activities on national security and defense policy in Europe and in the United States. From 2010 to 2011, Mr. Aladashvili attended the Royal College of Defense Studies, London. Mr. Aladashvili holds an MA in History of Diplomacy and International Relations from Tbilisi State University in Georgia (2003).
