Shijir Ochirbat

Ms. Shijir Ochirbat is an Academic Researcher at Harvard Kennedy School’s Decision Making Laboratory. Previously, she worked as a Senior Strategy and Policy Analyst at Oyu Tolgoi LLC/Rio Tinto Copper LLC, where she led a team responsible for strategic analysis and corporate strategy development. Prior to joining Rio Tinto Copper LLC, Ms. Ochirbat worked as a Senior Researcher at the National Development and Innovation Committee under the Office of the Prime Minister of Mongolia, where she participated in formulating medium term economic strategies for Mongolia. Ms. Ochirbat was also a Trade Analyst at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Mongolia, where she provided substantive input on trade related policy formulation from development perspectives. Ms. Ochirbat holds an MPA Development from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University (2018)), an MBA from the University of Sydney (2011) and a BBA in Finance from the National University of Mongolia (2006).
